Mediating Dancetheatre Approaches

with Polski Teatr Tańca (PL) and bodytalk (GER)

How can dance/body movement as an universal language help with becoming free from clichés/mindsets/stereotypes/prejudices or playing with them, in and between different countries? What do we learn about ourselves and each other by doing so?

Based on their common works, Polski Teatr Tańca and bodytalk share experiences on these questions, bring them into discussion and do further physical research with an interested public. Therefore Yoshiko Waki, artistic leader of bodytalk, offers practical trials of a dancetheatre approach in the tradition of Johann Kresnik, a famous dancer/choreographer in Germany, who died this year.
