The artists create on stage a new ritual of saying goodbye to the dead. This is an attempt to tame the process of dying, relegated by modernity to the margins of collective consciousness. Dialoguing with the second part of Adam Mickiewicz's Dziady (Forefathers' Eve), they consider what someone else's death means to us, the living. For us as individuals, and for us as a society. The intersection of two perspectives - group and individual - prompts another question: what can we, the living, know about death?
The production of the play was subsidized by funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
