The play, set in the Polish realities of the 1990s, evokes the time of democratic transition - the climate of anticipation, the sense of impending change and the rekindled hopes for prosperity. The iconic figure of Barbara Piasecka-Johnson - one of the world's richest women who returned to Poland with the intention of helping - become a pretext for confronting the dreams of those years and posing questions about what happened to the Polish dream of a happy life dreamed at the time.
