A large-format show, dissected by the dancers' creations in the artful language of Jacek Przybyłowicz. It draws on the physical intensity of modern Israeli dance, the elegance of neoclassical forms and the unfettered imagination of contemporary dance. The play with the rules of symmetry, the ornateness of details, the pastel tones, the minimalism of costumes, the fine direction of light and the energetic duet of percussion and saxophone create a sophisticated composition. 45 is a non-linear story of the theater's 45-year history. A collective portrait of young artists united by teamwork and the choice of art as a way of life. An invitation for the viewer to an interactive journey in site-specific space.
Spectacle co-organized by the Institute of Music and Dance as part of the 2019 Choreographic Procurement Program.
