As part of this project, two extraordinary and award-winning performances by the Polish Dance Theater - blurring the boundaries between dance theater and dramatic theater - will be presented to audiences in four regional centers. The goal is to bridge the barriers to accessing quality cultural events for residents of cities far from major cultural centers. On the stages, audiences will have the opportunity to see performances of "Romeos & Julias unplagued. Traumstadt" - winner of the Golden Yorick at last year's Shakespeare Festival in Gdansk, and "Water Hound or Delusion" - winner of three prizes in the Competition for the Staging of Old Works of Literature "Classics Alive" in the 46th edition of the Opole Theater Confrontations, also in 2022. Both performances draw on tradition and classics, but confront this legacy with modernity using body language easily understood and strongly felt by the audience.
The inauguration of the project "With Dance and the Word - Theater you don't know - Polish Dance Theater's tour of regional stages" will take place on the stage of the Kutno House of Culture already on April 13, where we will present the performance "Water Hen or Delusion".
