About the event

.

hour 19:00 - solo choreography show

.

Magdalena Adamczyk "Linearity"

.

I feel that one often looks for one coherent story of oneself or others forgetting that such does not exist, human beings are not linear. We are all assemblages of experiences, often inconsistent, impossible to summarize, not faithful to any guiding thought.

.

Marcelina Durdyn "If I had a choice"

.

Blessedness, anger and regret shown through movement - it addresses the theme of procrastination in adulthood and shows how people give up on themselves in favor of it.

Sylwia Galka "Boundaries"

.

What happens when your boundaries are crossed? What happens when the desire to please others turns out to be more important than your well-being? What happens when you are too submissive to protest? Be careful of your boundaries, because others will gladly cross them, take advantage of them and deprive you of your subjectivity. Don't forget.

Anastasia Kulchytskaya's "Red Slippers"

.

When we free ourselves from past unpleasant experiences we need time to shake off, space to be able to look for our own path and a pair of "red slippers" that will lead us to that path. Dedicated to every adult who has an inner child within.

.

Martyna Nowak "Simulation"

.

Fighting toxic patterns. When fatigue is a trope and ambition blinds us, how can we regain control?"

Martyna Nowak "Simulation.

Alexandra Rozmiarek's "WHOLE-BODY-NON-BODY"

.

Where is the boundary between the body and its negation or non-body? My etude is the result of a process of bodily exploration, based on my personal experience of struggling with an eating disorder. It is an attempt to gain insight and understanding of myself in order to become closer to myself as a result. It is my strong need to have a voice for the serious global problem of pervasive, unhealthy body worship.

.

8:00 pm - dress rehearsal of "The First Degree to Hell"
Everyone's Contemporary Artist' Cooperative

.

Imagine a place where there is no audience and no stage - there is a shared space. A space that invites you to feel more, see deeper, be truly present. "The First Degree to Hell" is an experiment that the IS ALL Contemporary Artist' Cooperative Foundation dedicates to two powerful forces: empathy and curiosity. It's not just an artistic event - it's an experience you can immerse yourself in. A space that combines theater, movement, word, song and visual arts into one living, changing organism.

.

But most of all - it's an invitation to discover yourself. Are you ready to look at your fears and pleasures? Face how you feel? Ask yourself why you react the way you do and not differently? We are experimenting with form, but also with emotions. We want everyone who enters this space not only to experience it - but to become part of it. It's not about observing. It's about participating.

Are you curious about what you are experiencing? Are you curious about the other person? Because often we only see someone else's decision. We don't see all the choices, the dilemmas, the stories that led to it. Are we willing to stop and try to feel them? Or maybe that's the first step to hell - the moment when we really start to become interested. The other person. The self. The one in between. This is an experiment for those who seek. Who are not afraid. Or are afraid - but want to go deeper.

About the Dance Area program

.

The goal of the program is to create a free rehearsal space for male and female artists of the art of dance and movement in Poznan, in close cooperation with the Polish Dance Theater and the ZAMEK Cultural Center, which will create professional conditions for artistic work. Poznan, as the birthplace of Polish contemporary dance, has great potential to become one of the leading centers of dance art in Poland. Unfortunately, current problems such as the lack of available rehearsal space, limited funding and insufficient support for the artist(s) lead to the marginalization of the dance community. The program aims not only to create space, but also systemic support that will enable artists/others to develop their talents and initiatives in Poznań. This is to support the local dance community, which for years has been struggling with the lack of adequate places for creative work, as well as insufficient funding and systemic support from the municipal authorities. Poznan, as the cradle of Polish contemporary dance, has great potential to become a key center for the art of dance in Poland. Despite this, many talented male and female dancers leave the city after completing their education, leading to stagnation and weakening of the local dance culture. Therefore, the project aims to keep the artists/dancers in Poznań by providing them with access to rehearsal space.

.

Supported by the budget of the City of Poznań.
