Spectacle for the 45th anniversary of the Polish Dance Theatre
A large-format performance, dissected by the dancers' creations in the artful language of Jacek Przybyłowicz. It draws on the physical intensity of contemporary Israeli dance, the elegance of neoclassical forms and the unfettered imagination of the modern dancer. The play with the principles of symmetry, the ornateness of the details, the pastel tones, the minimalism of the costumes, the fine lighting direction and the energetic duet of percussion and saxophone create a sophisticated composition. 45 is a non-linear story of the theater's 45-year history. A collective portrait of young artists united by teamwork and the choice of art as a way of life. An invitation for the viewer to an interactive journey in site-specific space.
