Premiere live and online: December 14, 2019 as part of the 1st International Festival "1 Page - 1 Look - 180 Seconds"
The project was inspired by the sculptures of Stanislaw Szukalski. In the works of this - evoking strong emotions - artist, the motif of the body appears, muscle tension, movement, gesture and expression can be seen. The sculpture is created from nature, of which man is a part - this was the interpretive code of the project.
The Toporrel project could not have been created anywhere else but in the Jizera Mountains, on the site of the "Stanislaw" quartz mine in Szklarska Poreba. Karkonosze and Izera Mountains hide mysteries, they are a place where magic mixes with reality, where the story of the legendary Mountain Spirit is still alive.
The film and accompanying album are further elements that build the story of the Polish Dance Theater.
