According to the Articles of Association of the Theater, the person managing the cultural institution is the Director, who acts with the assistance of the Deputy Director and the Chief Accountant. The Theater Council may operate at the Theater as an advisory and opinion-forming body, the composition of which is determined by the Director in consultation with the Board of Directors of the Wielkopolska Region.

The company archive of the Polish Dance Theater was established in 2001. It gathers archival materials and non-archival documentation covering the period from the establishment of the Theater, i.e. from 1973 to the present. The archival materials are a resource of the State Archives.
In the company archive, artistic documentation is collected, including:

- press cuttings .
- monographs of artists .
- afis and posters .
- occasion publications .
- audiovisual documentation .
- documentation of workshops and festivals organized by PTT .

- Informators and repertoires .
and non-artistic documentation: administrative, accounting and personnel files.
