This is the VI Festival "1 page- 1 look - 180 seconds".

As every year at this festival, we try to look at the movement from the perspective of 3 different artistic disciplines - literature, visual arts and film.

This is achieved through a multimedia competition, which is growing in popularity, with more and more works being submitted to the judges for evaluation, voting for the Audience Award, which activates the audience of works about dance, and finally - for the first time this year - a poetry and choreography slam, i.e. building creative situations in which words provoke improvised dance composition.

The symbolic number 3 also returns in other ways. On December 12 at 8 pm, the Polish Dance Theater will host an extraordinary premiere - "Toaca," a super-production by the Polish Dance Theater co-created by 3 Romanian choreographers, Mădălina Dan, Andrea Gavriliu and Ștefan Lupu. It is a triptych in which each part stands on its own, yet makes up a three-part whole. The premiere is the main performance event of the Romania-Poland 2024-2025 Cultural Season "We Have a Common Language," co-organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Warsaw.

And another number 3 in the program of the VI International Festival "1 page - 1 look - 180 seconds". - there will be a total of 3 premieres! 1 theatrical, i.e. the aforementioned "Toaca," and as many as 2 film premieres - the appendix to the documentary film "My Theater," directed by Radek Wysocki, and - for the grand finale of the Festival - "Isle of the Dead," directed by Iwona Pasinska, the 8th choreographic film project of the Polish Dance Theater.

This is the 6th festival, but it is dominated on various levels by the number 3. As is known to the Pythagoreans, 3 was the perfect number. The number 3 is a symbolic number in culture. It expresses time, spiritual, physical and mental aspects of life, so ideally - although in an unplanned way - it relates to dance - this augurs perfectly for multiples of the number: VI International Festival "1 Page - 1 Look - 180 Seconds".
