Before the Polish-Norwegian co-production is presented at the EXPO 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, Kansai (Japan), the largest and most important economic and cultural event in the world, the performance "From the Hat" will be seen at the Polish Dance Theater in Poznan. Like sepia-toned, "old-fashioned" photographs bathed in warm shades of brown, the choreographic images conjured up by director and choreographer Jo Strømgren and the Polish Dance Theater Company will remind us that memories, though fleeting and existing immaterially, do not lose their reality. Shuffled by passing time, they show echoes and mirages of events, scraps of what has passed, phantasms of situations, speaking several languages of the world and a dozen languages "spoken" by the bodies of the dancers of the Polish Dance Theater.
.What can be taken out of the magic hat? What action will this (un)ordinary object set in motion?"

."Genius loci in the Polish Dance Theater" - meeting after the performance "From the hat"
.
Polish Dance Theater, through the performance "Out of the Hat," draws the viewer into a séance of memory, which allows one to penetrate the hidden meaning of what is old, past, not fully realized. We invite you to meet and talk after the evening performance about the restored memory of distant times, with archaeologists - experts from the Genius loci Archaeological Reserve.
