GAGA DANCERS - workshops with Gosia Mielech

Gaga dancers are built on the same structure as Gaga people classes, but differ in specific terminology and tasks that are part of the knowledge and skills needed for dancers. Overlaying layers of movements familiar to dancers, along with Gaga tasks, are designed to provoke fresh challenges; during the class, the teacher encourages dancers to visit unfamiliar places in the body, as well as new ways of moving. Gaga dancers deepen dancers' physical capabilities, expand the palette of movement options available to them, improve their ability to modulate energy and engage their 'explosive power', and enrich dancers' movement qualities with a wide range of textures.

Gaga dancers' classes last 75 minutes.
