🔧🔮 MISSION VHS is a journey back in time, when movies were recorded on cassettes, and movement and imagination didn't need Wi-Fi! We invite young art explorers to participate in a week-long workshop combining theater, dance and film.
A unique weekly program for children combining theater, creative movement and camera work. Every day for eight hours, children will create, improvise, dance, shoot and edit films. The workshop will conclude with a joint presentation of stage etudes and a premiere screening of the films created by the Participants on the big stage.
The classes are led by experienced theater, dance and film instructors.
Age: 7-12 years
When? July 14-19, 2025 from 08:00 am to 16:00 pm
Where? Polish Dance Theater, 8 Taczaka St., Poznań
Note: Participants are required to have a phone with a free version of video editing software installed during the Workshop.

Attire: Participants should have a loose-fitting outfit and a change of shoes or the possibility to work in socks.

Instructors:
Alicja Augustynek - dancer of the Polish Dance Theater, graduate of The ELITE Program at Dance Theater in Budapest. In 2019, she began working with Art Color Ballet. She trained with choreographers such as Lorand Zachar, Minka-Marie Heiß, Raza Hammadi and Roser Lopez Espinosa. In 2024, she had the opportunity to train with Compagnia Zappala Danza, and performed excerpts from Marco Goecke and Roberto Zappala's performances at the FIC Festival in Catania. She also performed at the DEPO Dance Theater in Budapest, in performances of “Viszlát a levegőben!” choreographed by Földi Béla and Ságha Alexander.
Kacper Bożek - a dancer with the Polish Dance Theater, a graduate of the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź, majoring in Dance with a specialization in dancer-choreographer. In 2017, he received an artistic scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. He was a dancer at the V6 Theater in Lodz, a participant in the 8th and 9th editions of the “You Can Dance” program. He is a contemporary dance instructor. He has participated and collaborated in many independent performance, dance and choreographic projects throughout Poland. He has trained with Mink-Marie Heiß, Chiara Fulgentini, David Zambrano, Anton Lachky, Kristina and Sade Alleyne, Francisco Cordova, Laura Aris, Jozef Frucek, among others.
Zbigniew Kocięba - dancer with the Polish Dance Theater, graduate of the Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak High School of Ballet in Gdansk. He is a laureate of the third place in the XVIII national ballet competition in the category “contemporary dance” in Gdansk. He participated in the International Contemporary Dance Workshop in Poznań, Coaching Project conducted by Maria Kong Dancers Company and GaGa technique workshops conducted by Yoshifumi Inao of Batsheva Dance Company.
Arkadiusz Kos - graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology. Theater and film actor, dancer, singer, art animator, costume designer, stage designer, educator.
Sandra Szatan - dancer with the Polish Dance Theater, studied at the Krakow Ballet School and the Conservatory of Dance in Krakow.
In 2011 she received a diploma from the National Ballet School in Warsaw, then studied at the third year of The International School of Contemporary Dance IWANSON in Munich. She has participated in several independent projects, such as “Letters of Sand” choreographed by Michail Zubkov, “Woven from Dreams” and ‘Feelings’ by Kinga Szablowska, and “Homo Religiosus” by Karol Miękina. For 3 seasons, she performed in the show “Transformations” at the Groteska Theater in Cracow, choreographed by Caroline Finn-Fisher.
