During the 4th edition of the International Dance Theater Festival "Boundaries of Nature - Boundaries of Culture", we will see the performance "The Loft" by Jo Strømgren Kompani twice - on April 27 and 28 at 8 pm in the Large Studio of the Polish Dance Theater.

About the show:

.

During their lunch break, four female co-workers sneak into the attic. Their mutual friction and unrequited love set in motion a series of various conflicts.

They are in the middle of a series of conflicts.

Black humor appears as a defense mechanism. Surreal dreams betray unspoken desires. They give vent to repressed instincts and reveal an existential "gray area" full of disturbing questions.

Surrealistic dreams give vent to repressed instincts and reveal an existential "gray area" full of disturbing questions.

The play is a story of control, restraint, but also immense passion, which often causes conflict and friction, creating chaos and mental tension.

Non-conflict between people confined to small spaces is a timeless problem that has affected representatives of our species since the days when we began to inhabit caves. "The Loft" reminds us that even in the modern world we still struggle with this primal issue. In many situations, the issue of psychological tension is more problematic than its cause, and people subjected to it quickly lose the ability to distinguish between trivial and essential things and those that are "barely" existential

Four strong stage female personalities meet on stage. In terms of plot, the performance is characterized by fresh unpredictability, showing human, (especially female) life in a big way.

Fascinating and physical dance.
