The Polish Dance Theater will host EIDOS - a performance summing up the cooperation between the Eidart group and the Creative Laboratories project - a choreographic film workshop - a celebration of culture and entertainment, encouraging creative, active and enjoyable vacation activities in the city.

The ancient Greeks based their research on archetypes, which are cross-sections through 2,000 years of history. Therefore, developing research on these topics is of great interest to new generations that present them from a new point of view.

The third year of collaboration with the Polish Dance Theater brings together the last two years of exploring ancient Greek themes. Greek mythology and philosophy are our main inspirations, but we have explored other cultures and theories to assemble an organic framework for the final result.

Hourglass, Temenos and Eidos. The result is a triptych that combines various concepts such as time, space and forms. In line with the artistic vision of the Polish Dance Theater, we decided to delve into "Form" as a frame, shapes, forms, in a more abstract and concrete sense. During Hourglass, 5 artists choreographed the final part of the production, but at the same time each of them danced in all the pieces. Time can be just a chronological measurement, a linear sequence of identical moments that we count with clocks or other devices. Time can also be Tempo in music, changes in speed or Rhythm, a cycle of accents that return and return again and again. Time is also Kairos, the right time to do something, the different qualities of each individual moment that are never the same. And time can be synchronicity, the idea that each moment is not just a consequence of the previous one, but a more complex network in which the deep meaning of things emerges through coincidences, not just through causal explanation. All these visions of time are linked to the Greek goddess Ananke, representing necessity and inevitability. Her brother is Chronos, linear time, and they are entwined together like two snakes at the beginning of the Universe. She is also the mother of the three Moirai.
