The Beirut International Women Film Festival is an annual event organized by the Beirut Film Society since 2017. The festival screens films made by women, telling stories about women and addressing issues that particularly affect them, such as gender equality, sexual identity and domestic violence.

The mission of the festival is to push for gender equality, emphasize the role of women as leaders in local communities, and empower female filmmakers in the film community by showcasing their success stories. The festival is open to submissions of works produced in Lebanon and abroad - not only dance films, but also feature films, documentaries or animated films. The last edition received 1,200 entries from 100 countries around the world.

Remember that "The Herbarium" is the fifth choreographic film project of the Polish Dance Theater, directed by Iwona Pasinska. It is a fairy-tale episode, told with tenderness, gushing with the intense colors of flowers and élan vital. Choreography choreographed to a suite by Edward Grieg and presented by the artists-dancers of the Polish Dance Theater leads the audience into the world of flora. It allows you to explore a day in the life of plants from the moment of bloom to the end sunk in warm nostalgia. You are invited to immerse yourself in the beautiful world of flowers and leaves, in the greens, reds and purples that transition to the grays and browns of autumn. And all this told with movement to the rhythm of the dynamic sounds of the suite Peer Gynt op. 1 performed by Trondheim Symfoniorkester & Opera.

The project has won important awards, including as many as four Audience Awards - at the Blois International Choreographic Festival (2022, France), the Portland Dance Film Fest (2022, USA), the Classical Arts Film Festival in Napa (2022, USA) and the Moving Body Festival in Varna (2022, Bulgaria).

The project has also won a major award, including four Audience Awards.

Also received the grand prize of the RIFF International Film Festival: R.E.D in Eina (2022, Norway), the award for best short dance film at the Door Kinetic Arts Festival in Baileys Harbor (2022, USA), the grand prize at the International Dance Film Festival in Jakarta (2022, Indonesia), and the best director award for Iwona Pasinska and an honorable mention in the "best dance film" category at the XII Encuentro Para Cinéfagos (Festival de CineArte en la Frontera) in San Cristóbal (2022, Venezuela).
